SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Chateau Le Grand Housteau vineyard is located in the heart of French winemaking, in the Bordeaux region, and the city of Bordeaux itself is deservedly recognized as the world wine capital.
In the immediate vicinity of Bordeaux, there are small and large wineries producing a wide variety of Bordeaux wines, among which there are both the most famous in the world and ordinary wines.

There are about 10,000 wine producers in the Bordeaux region, of which 5,660 are AOC wine producers.
Vineyards cover 110,800 hectares, and the annual sale of wines is 650 million bottles - 80% red and 20% white wines.
There are 300 trading houses in the region - this is more than 2/3 of the distribution of Bordeaux wines in more than 170 countries of the world.
Red wines are produced here from grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon 22%, Merlot 66%, Cabernet Franc 9%.
And 3% of other grape varieties, including: Petit Verdot, Malbec, as well as a small amount of Carmenera.
11% white grape varieties:
46% Semillon, 46% Sauvignon, 5% Muscadelle, 3% other grapes
